I have been a professional sailor and now coach for nearly 20 years. In that time I have specialised in Catamaran racing primarily, initially as a member of the British Sailing team in the tornado Class. I went to the Athens olympics in 2004 and achieved a career high world ranking of 4th.

After my Olympic Sailing career I moved into professional sailing and have specialised in short course grand prix catamaran racing across classes such as Extreme 40, AC45 and M32.

Since 2013 I have started to move into coaching where I have worked with Nacra 17, Extreme 40, M32 catamarans and most recently the Finn Class.
